**What you’ll do**:
**Role title: Financial Controller EU**
**Function: Finance**
**Reports to: Head of finance operations**
**Location: India, Egypt, Romania, Hungary, Spain**

**Role purpose**:

- Managing the finance operations activities for HU and RO, the role contributes to the overall compliance with Group Accounting, statutory reporting and fiscal requirements.

**Key accountabilities and decision ownership**:

- Establish a proper review for all company’s balance sheet accounts
- Managing the monthly/yearly closing activities while adhering to the pre-determined deadlines
- Checks accuracy of accounting entries in alignment with the statutory / group reporting requirements;
- Collaborates with support teams in FSS India and Budapest to ensure the accuracy of recordings and compliance with established deadlines and quality Fin Ops KPIs;
- Coordinates the preparation of financial statements with tax team, and maintains the relationship with internal / external auditors;
- Helps resolve escalations/complex accounting matters;
- Provide consultation regarding the adoption of the accounting standards and the group policies
- Perform Fin Ops Reporting certifications. Oversees balance sheet reconciliation process
- Monitor the current processes while planning to implement new procedures to increase the overall efficiency

- Advanced accounting knowledge;
- SAP ECC and BW knowledge;
- PC and MSOffice operations skills
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- Minimum 5 years experience
- Good written and spoken English language
