**OVERVIEW**

Project In-charge shall supervise and be in-charge of the work done in site. The Project-in-Charge manages and coordinates all aspects in different phases of the project. From the pre-construction stage, construction stage up to post-construction phase. He provides leadership and directs all groups involved in the success of the project.

**RELATIONSHIP & REPORTING STRUCTURE**

Reporting to: Project lead

Supervises: NA

Liaise with:
Internally - Project management team

Externally - Respective Clients, Sub-Contractors, Laborers

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Proper planning of projects, scheduling, and coordination
- Creating, managing, and adequately supervising the project budget for all assigned projects
- Ensuring the safety and welfare of all subcontractors and laborers on site
- Resolution of issues or problems involving material delivery, contract administration, and labor disputes
- Management of tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Management of critical subcontractors and construction project managers
- Adequate and efficient forecasting and management of budgets
- Collaboration with project teams to facilitate on time and budget delivery
- Researches and compiles information about licenses and permits needed for a certain job
- Providing recommendations to the construction project manager or clients on several issues.
- Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
- Supervising and instructing the construction team as well as subcontractors.
- Educating site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol.
- Enforcing site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries.
- Handling site accidents in accordance with established accident protocol.
- Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance.
- Evaluating the performance of construction employees and instituting disciplinary measures as needed.
- Analyzing blueprints to ensure that construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications.
- Recommending changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency.

**FUNCTIONAL OBJECTIVES**
- Conduct site meeting with Project HOD / Vendors/ sub-contractor/ Developer as per Project requirements.
- Daily site review to make sure that the project work is on the right track
- To provide guidelines to onsite workers regularly
- Thorough study of drawing, BOQ, understanding of specification and make. (If possible site visit of similar store executed before)
- To prepare MOM whenever the client team member gives instructions of changes or suggestion on site in absence of project Lead.
- Allocation of various activities among team members for the completion of project work within stipulated time period
- Coordinate with vendors and ensure that all field work complies with current schedules.
- Coordinating with the team members.
- Managing the manpower for different works.
- Coordinate with Project Manager to meet completion on or before scheduled date specified in the contract or by Project Manager
- On site verification of Vendor works for timely billing
- Execution of Project as per design & Client's requirements.
- Quality monitoring
- HOTO as per client’s requirement.
- Ensure all the work is done as per Clients Specifications & Standard.
- Ensure that all the material used during execution is as per Client’s approved Make/ Material List.
- Document the necessary information required to effectively maintain project quality from project planning to delivery
- Communicate all the Onsite Staff regarding safety procedures
- Ensure all Safety Norms are followed by vendors at site
- Ensure proper safety protection is utilized in any public areas of the job site and maintain a safe jobsite
- Major maintenance related requests to be addressed on priority along with current project schedule
- Post execution, Work completed certification sign-off with client & Taking actual measurements as per BOQ format before handover of site.

**BASIC PRE-REQUISITIES**
- Completion of a post-secondary education construction training program.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction science, civil engineering, or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience working as a site supervisor.
- CPR and first aid certifications.
- Sound knowledge of building codes and construction safety regulations.
- Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
- The ability to interpret blueprints.
- Outstanding leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
