JR55841 MTS, ASIC Design

**Position Description**:

- The position is part of a Mix-Signal ASIC digital team. The group owns various high-speed IPs (like ONFI & DDR PHY, SerDes) and IO buffer Chips from spec to post silicon characterization.
- Responsible to create cutting edge DDR PHY architecture, work with Digital, Analog and DV teams, lead Physical Design of the IP and delivery to ASIC
- Driving innovation and develop new architectures for best-in-class solution
- Pair with similar domain specialists across other geographical locations on core technical initiatives
- Pair with Analog and Digital designers to ensure smooth interface between Digital and Analog circuits
- Mentoring and coaching other design team members on technical issues
- Learns design & technology requirements, develops and customizes flows to achieve all the requirements.

**SKILLS required**:

- Strong understanding of DDR PHY architecture, JEDEC DDR and DFI specification and physical design implementation flows
- Working knowledge of DDR Circuit and Digital design
- Good scripting and debugging skills. Developing and customizing flow. Good understanding of various IP views like, Verilog, liberty, LEF, UPF, GDS etc.
- Working knowledge of low power designing involving multiple power domains.
- Should be able to identify and meet requirements for critical paths of multi-GHz designs
- The position requires good written & verbal communication skills as well a strong commitment and ability to work in cross functional and globally dispersed teams
- M.S./M.Tech, BS/BE (Electronics)
