Seeking an astute individual that has a strong technical foundation with the additional ability to be hands-on with the broader engineering team as part of the development/deployment cycle, and deep knowledge of industry best practices, with the ability to implement them working with both the platform, and the product teams.

Job Description Summary - IN-QA Architect

Works with the team on quality assurance and quality control of a product during the development and execution phases. Is part of a self-organized agile team and interacts with team members on release deliverables. Assists team members in supporting customer and implementation related issues. Demonstrates the capability to architect automation framework, write, execute, and maintain automation test scripts. Installs and configures relevant products for the purpose of quality assurance.

- Software: Webdriver.io, Selenium, Java, React JS, Rest API, Spring Boot, RDBMS
- Frameworks/Others: Webdriver.io, Selenium, GIT, RDBMS, Oracle, Appscan, Checkmarx, Sonarcube, TM4J

What you’ll do:

- Complete ownership for preparing test automation solution, designing automation frameworks and lead the implementation of test strategy, test plans & test execution of the product
- Provide technical leadership in design and architecture of the automation framework
- Ensure adoption of the framework
- Supports automation script development and the optimization of those scripts.
- Develop and maintains test cases for one or more products.
- Executes the manual test cases and scenarios and publishes the results.
- Participates in test case reviews. Develops and maintain test data.
- Installs and configures relevant products in all supported test environments.
- Conducts exploratory testing as needed or planned.
- Writes, executes and maintains automation test scripts.
- Identifies and reports software defects in an appropriate manner, and follows the defined defect lifecycle.
- Works with team members in troubleshooting the root cause of a defect and resolves the issue. Works with test management and test execution tools (such as viz., HP QC, and JIRA).
- Understands business requirements provided.
- Follows standard development processes and procedures.
- Plans and prioritizes work tasks.
- Proactively seeks or provides assistance as required.

What we are looking for:

- 8+ years of experience in Software Testing (Manual/Automation) with bachelor’s degree.
- Strong in Webdriver.io/ Selenium Automation
- Demonstrable experience in design and architecture of the automation framework
- Warehouse Management experience
- WMS/Dispatcher knowledge Product
- RDBMS concepts, SQL
- Database Concepts: Relational Concepts, SQL
- Frameworks/Others: RDBMS, Webdriver.io, GIT, Jenkins, Appscan, Sonarcube, TM4J
