Subject Matter Expert

**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide expert-level advisory support in the **oil & gas domain**, that will align business processes with digital and IT solutions.- Collaborate with stakeholders to define solution requirements, business use cases, and operational models.- Drive **domain-specific best practices**, standards, and innovation strategies for project implementation.- Participate in architecture design reviews, platform selections, and solution blueprinting.- Support functional teams with **deep insights into oil & gas workflows**, regulatory requirements, and performance metrics.- Validate solution configurations, business rules, and data flows to ensure they align with industry benchmarks.- Contribute to knowledge transfer, capability development, and stakeholder enablement sessions.- Work across project delivery, business analysis, and vendor management functions as a strategic advisor.

**Required Qualifications and Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Petroleum, Geoscience, IT, or related field; **Master’s or MBA is a plus**.- Minimum **12 years of total experience**, with at least **7+ years in oil & gas industry-specific roles**.- Proven expertise in at least one of the following domains:
**Upstream operations** (exploration, drilling, reservoir, production)**Downstream processes** (refinery, petrochemicals)**Asset integrity and reliability**HSE & regulatory compliance**Digital oilfield / Smart field solutions**- Familiarity with platforms such as **SAP (IS-Oil), Honeywell, AVEVA, OSIsoft PI, SCADA, or similar**.- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and influence decision-making at executive levels.
