**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Designing menu’s that coordinated with the dietitian based on preferences of patients
- Ensuring healthy and nutritional balance in meal offerings
- Ordering food supplies and ingredients while maintaining inventory levels
- Monitoring stock rotation and minimizing waste.
- Overseeing food preparation to ensure meals are prepared safely, hygienically and according to specified recipes.
- Conducting quality control checks to maintain food standards
- Developing and managing budgets for food costs and other operational expenses.
- Implementing cost saving measures without compromising on food quality
- Supervising cooks, service boys, cleaners in the kitchen and Service Area
- Scheduling shifts and ensuring adequate staffing levels for proper workflow
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and ensuring the canteen meets and sanitation standards
- Addressing staffs concerns and feedback regarding food quality and service
- Timely purchasing all necessary kitchen Goods with the permission of Management
- Conducting regular meetings and implementing corrective actions as needed
