**The**Opportunity**:
Under close supervision, provide support on a range of products using their technical resources along with sales skills. May assist in preparing product documentation. Demonstrate how to use new products and/or services.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

- Maintain a database of supplier product information, specification and certificates.
- Build a relationship with NA based sales staff and customer service associates to ensure continuity of service provided.
- Ability to produce results in a pressurised environment, within agreed service levels and the ability to follow through on all commitments.

Skills, knowledge & experience:

- Minimum of a Graduate/Postgraduate Degree in Chemistry / Biology / Microbiology / Bio Technology or an equivalent Degree.
- Preferably with HPLC/chromatography experience.
- Practical Laboratory experience is preferred.
- Excellent Communication Skills with telephone etiquette. Preferably with customer service experience.
- Good team player and drive for results
- Customer centric approach, with ability to provide accurate information in user-friendly manner to both technical and non-technical purchasers.
- Awareness of the sales process and a commercial understanding of the service
- Eye for details and accuracy of information supplied.
- Ability to comprehend the technical enquiry, analyse, probe to understand the customer requirement and ensure complete information before formulating a response. Competencies:
