**Media Teacher (Online)**
**Location**: Kochi
**Salary**: ₹35,000 - ₹60,000 (based on experience)
**Experience**: Minimum 1 year in a media channel or learning apps

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Online Teaching & Content Delivery**:

- Teach media studies to high school and upper primary students via online platforms.
- Use various online tools, including video conferencing software, educational apps, and media content, to enhance the learning experience.
- **Curriculum Development**:

- Develop and adapt curriculum plans based on the academic needs and levels of the students.
- Integrate digital media resources such as videos, podcasts, and news articles to make lessons more interactive and relevant to modern media.
- **Student Engagement & Assessment**:

- Foster an interactive online classroom environment through discussions, quizzes, assignments, and projects.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Monitor and track student performance, offering additional support where necessary.
- **Collaboration & Coordination**:

- Collaborate with other teachers and the educational team to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
- Participate in virtual staff meetings, workshops, and professional development programs.
- **Media-related Projects & Activities**:

- Organize media-based activities like creating short films, podcasts, or digital presentations to encourage practical learning.
- Guide students in research, content creation, and media production projects.
- **Student Mentoring**:

- Provide guidance and mentorship to students who are interested in pursuing careers in media, journalism, or digital content creation.
- Assist students in developing their critical thinking and analytical skills regarding media and its impact on society.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in Media Studies, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) qualification is mandatory.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a media channel or educational learning apps.
- Prior teaching experience, especially in an online environment, is preferred.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of media studies, including digital media, journalism, and media literacy.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Proficient in using online teaching platforms and educational apps (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.).
- Ability to design and deliver engaging lessons that encourage student interaction.
- Patience and adaptability in an online teaching environment.
