ACTIVITIES

**1**
- Optimisation of Coastal Operations- To ensure optimisation of utilisation of coastal hired facilities
- Close monitoring of losses (ocean/discharge/day to day operation) and ensuring proactive actions to minimise them.
- Close monitoring of time taken wrt idling, berthing, discharge, release/sailing of vessels to optimise various port charges and improve turn-around time of vessels.
- Ensuring day to day despatches from hired terminal as per projections/linkages for Retail, Direct and other customers from coastal locations of the zone and materialisation of day to day indents in time.
- Close coordination with terminal operators, port authority, QC laboratory and vessel to ensure timely berthing/discharge/removal of vessel.
- Ensuring availability of required product at locations in time
- Assessing requirement of own/terminal resources to ensure proactive action to materialise demands in time.
- Close monitoring of day to day movement of product from various tanks and identify exceptions, if any, to ensure accuracy of stock accounting and losses.

- Control on product inventory losses- Monitoring of Day to day accounting of Stocks at own locations and taking desired actions to control any deviations. Ensure necessary statutory clearances are in place for the export/import.
- Ensuring daily posting of physical inventory and analysis of stock variations for taking corrective actions, if any.
- Monitoring and control on ocean loss/handling loss at the time of unloading of Vessels at coastal locations
- Monitoring and control of handling losses at the coastal locations.

- Inspection of Locations- Periodic and surprise inspection of all coastal locations in the zone. Keeping record of observations in the approved format.
- Making routine and surprise inspection of hinterland locations on need basis. Keeping record of observations in the approved format.
- Making summary of major observations at each locations and monthly reporting to HO alongwith actions taken to liquidate them.
- Physical verification of stocks in each tank at coastal locations of the zone at-least once in a month and making joint record of same.
- Physical verification of monthly closing inventory at the terminal and making joint statement of stock-loss with operator at-least once in a quarter.

- Budgetory Control, statutory compliances and conduct of product handling agreement- To prepare, monitor and control budgeted expenses of coastal locations
- To ensure timely renewal and availability of required statutory compliance by the terminal opeartors
- To ensure adherence to agreed terms of product handling agreement by the operator

- Operational Excellence- Record keeping of all inducted TTs (approved strength, active TTs), induction documents of each transporter and each TTs, Security fittings, surprise inspection of TTs etc at each location
- Ensure branding of all engaged TTs as per EOL guidelines
- Ensuring record keeping of invoices, approvals, PODs etc at each locations in orderely manner
- Ensuring record keeping of pilfer proof seals, abloy locks, keys etc in standard approved format.
- Implementation of VTS on all TTs and keeping track of any irregularities/malpractices

- Safety and Security- Use of proper PPEs at locations and implementation of safe practices
- Ensure a culture of behaviour based safety among officers as well as TT crews/agency staffs
- Ensure proper adherence of access control for entry/exit of TT crew.
- To conduct safety campaign at locations

- OISD Compliance- Implementation of various guidelines issued by OISD, empowered committee etc. at Depot Locations

- Co-ordination- Co-ordination with upcoming/ongoing depot project team and provide operational inputs.
