Job role and responsibilities:
**On-Page SEO**:

- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to guide content teams.
- Optimize website content, landing pages, and blogs for search engines.
- Develop and implement on-page SEO strategies to improve visibility and rankings.
- Perform ongoing technical SEO audits and implement necessary fixes.
- Ensure website content is optimized for mobile and voice search.
- Collaborate with the web development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented.
- Create and optimize meta tags, headers, URLs, and other on-page elements.
- Monitor and report on website performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools.

**Off-Page SEO**:

- Develop and execute effective link-building strategies.
- Build relationships with relevant industry influencers and websites for guest posting and backlink opportunities.
- Monitor and manage the company's online reputation through social media, forums, and other platforms.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and changes in SEO and major search engines.
- Analyze competitors’ SEO strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with content creators to produce high-quality content that attracts inbound links.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with website optimization tools.
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
- Certification in Google Analytics or related SEO/SEM certifications.
