**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Plan and deliver** high-quality IT lessons that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
- **Teach programming languages** such as Python, Java, or Scratch, along with other relevant technologies.
- **Introduce students** to computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, databases, networks, and cybersecurity.
- **Encourage practical learning** through hands-on projects, coding exercises, and interactive software tools.
- **Assess and evaluate** students’ progress through tests, assignments, and projects.
- **Provide guidance** on the responsible use of technology, internet safety, and digital ethics.
- **Stay updated** with technological advancements and integrate modern tools into teaching methods.
- **Support students** in IT-related competitions, clubs, or extracurricular activities.
- **Collaborate with colleagues** to develop innovative teaching strategies and curriculum improvements.
- **Maintain classroom discipline** and create a positive learning environment.
- **Communicate effectively** with students, parents, and school administration regarding student performance and progress.

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- **Educational Background**: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field. A teaching certification is preferred.
- **Experience**: Prior experience in teaching IT or computing at the secondary level is advantageous.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, C++, etc.), web development, databases, networking, and cybersecurity principles.
- **Teaching Skills**: Strong classroom management, lesson planning, and student engagement abilities.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff.
- **Adaptability & Innovation**: Ability to integrate modern technology and teaching methodologies into the classroom.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with educational platforms such as Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, or Moodle.
- Knowledge of AI, robotics, or game development as an added advantage.
- Certifications in IT-related fields (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, Google Certified Educator) are a plus.
