Medical Coding Trainer

a. This is a stand-alone vacancy where there will be no one reporting; however, he/she must coordinate with all stakeholders in the department.
b. Responsible for training and successfully onboarding the JMCs on the below topics as per timelines, also conducting assessments, publishing the scores, and assigning the client.
i. ICD 10 Guidelines.
ii. Evaluation & Management
iii. Specialty Procedures & Modifiers
iv. Conduct EMR-specific training
v. Involve in adhoc training as required.
c. Conducting monthly assessments and publishing the scores for all the coders in the department.
d. Involve in research, analyses, and training on any new scope of Medical Coding specialties.
e. Involve in new client test/trial coding, auditing, Provider feedback, documentation analysis.
f. Perform pre/post-delivery audits to identify areas of improvement.
g. Involve in Training staff periodically or on a need basis and maintain records for the same.
h. Perform any other task(s) assigned by the Reporting Manager.
a. Should have 3-5 years of experience in Medical Coding.
b. Experience in multiple specialties will be an added advantage.
c. Excellent knowledge in ICD -10 CM, CPT, HCPCS, Modifiers, and all industry updates.
d. Excellent communication skills.
e. Ability to perform coding and auditing on project needs for new client implementation.
f. Dual certification will be an added advantage.

**Incentive: Upon successful completion of training and probation period of each JMC, shall be eligible for an incentive of Rs. 500/ -.**
