**About this role**
BT is going through an exciting and radical digital transformation - and data is at the heart. We’re simplifying our products, transforming our customer journeys, modernising our IT and networks and decommissioning legacy platforms. The Global Digital Product Tribe is underpinning this transformation by creating delightful customer experience and solving their pain point to lead the growth in this digital transformation.
The Tribe’s mission is to partner with the business and create digital products responsible for addressing the key challendes they face and build scalable global solution with feauture rich and scalable technologies. The product management tribe will be unlocking key levers to take the BT global business by using existing assets as well as creating newer ones to empower businesses in making taking key decision quicky and in a scalable manner.
The Digital team in BT Global is at the forefront of driving a complete re-invention of BT Global into a cloud native connectivity as-a-service platform company.
Our initiatives are ambitious, ranging from digitizing our customer journeys and driving sales growth, to launching marketplaces and ecosystems, and building disruptive new AI-powered propositions across Cloud, 5G, digital edge, digital work, sustainability, and security, that enable entirely new revenue streams.
We’re looking for entrepreneurial, customer-obsessed, and highly visionary product leaders with a burning passion for innovation to join and help set up our rapidly growing team.
In this role, you will build and lead a high performing team responsible for the strategy and delivery of every Web and Mobile experience across the customer journey. This includes our Pre-sales, Buy, Self-care, and Service journeys. You will be a digital guru with multiple years building and scaling world class web experiences and/or commerce platforms.
You will be accountable for delivering a significant part of our digital channel shift strategy, such as driving an aggressive acceleration of online sales, improving CSAT, and reducing cycle time etc.
**You'll have the following responsibilities**
- Accountable for the definition and realization of customer journey products and of the outcome of the squad/squads and the dependent component teams
- Work with Business Stakolders to define the product roadmap, and then Epics (squad-sized workloads delivered within a quarter), coordinating with the Tribe Leads and other Product Owners
- Empowered in Prioritise backlog, make decisions on features the squad will deliver; participate in planning and alignment forums within the Tribes, Business Units or communities of practice
- Define the scope and vision for minimum viable products and minimum marketable product based on customer needs, resolving the trade-offs and bridging the gap between customer, business and tech considerations
- Represent voice of the customer, regularly seek feedback from users and use the feedback, coupled with quantitative data to iterate rapidly
- Work with team to solve customer problems, create user stories to deliver Epics
- Monitor and track the squad’s success metrics (e.g.% Lead and revenue growth) and prioritise work accordingly
- Facilitate the sprint planning to reaffirm priorities and clarify requirements
- Responsible for unlocking and delivering benefits / efficiencies in the Squad, with assistance of the Squad Members as required
