**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field.
- Certification/registration with relevant professional regulatory body (e.g., MLT, DMLT, BSc MLT).
- 1-3 years of experience in NABL Certified pathology lab preferred.
- Knowledge of histological techniques, staining protocols, and lab safety.
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) is a plus.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Receive and log specimens in accordance with laboratory protocols.
- Perform tissue fixation, dehydration, embedding, microtomy, and staining procedures (e.g., H&E, special stains).
- Operate and maintain histopathology laboratory equipment such as microtomes, cryostats, embedding stations, and staining machines.
- Label and organize slides and tissue blocks appropriately for pathologist review.
- Assist in grossing small specimens under supervision as per policy.
- Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of samples and test results.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspaces in compliance with infection control and lab safety standards.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control procedures.
- Handle hazardous materials following standard safety procedures (biosafety, chemical handling).
- Communicate effectively with pathologists, lab staff, and clinical personnel.

**Job Summary**:
The Histopathology Lab Technician is responsible for preparing tissue samples for microscopic examination and diagnosis by a pathologist. The technician performs tasks such as gross tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, staining, and maintaining laboratory equipment and records in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
