**Requirement**

**Knowledge of Python, Azure, REST API’s, Scrum Methodology, Dev/Ops,**

Strong hands-on in Python Scripting with good knowledge of data structures and design patterns.

Very good experience is automating tests **in BDD Framework using Python is a MUST.**

Solid and demonstrable comprehension of cloud concepts especially related to Azure.

Passionate about evaluating different System Testing scenarios as part of product workflow.

**Experience in debugging & fixing issues related to python scripts, issues with Cloud Interface, build, package, environment etc.,**

Experience in code walkthrough and incorporating / providing review feedbacks

Should have a good communication and interfacing skills with cross functional teams.

**Roles and responsibilities**

Automate tests related to API Project

Is responsible for writing the acceptance criteria in a feature file using gherkin language

Develop Python API & Integration Test Scripts using BDD approach and Behave Automation Framework in Azure Cloud.

Work on well-defined projects with mínimal supervision. Work effectively with peers and senior members of the development and test team.

Work closely with other developers and product management to evaluate testing efforts for new feature requests.

Follow continuous-integration approach and to be aligned with the products DevOps process.

Support the team and share the knowledge.

Research and develop the new methods for handling the issues.

Developing Test scripts with Python

Manage Test Code in Repository and manage different version of the test code

**Qualifications**

The minimum necessary qualification is a bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering field.

Total work experience of 7+ years in the software industry with experience in automation testing using Python/Pytest

Knowledge of test planning and execution, test methodologies and tools are required.

Experience in developing and using test automation framework is essential.
