**Job Description**:
You are a very hands-on and detail-oriented person, but also with the ability to see the big picture. In this role, you will play a significant role in the growth of the company.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Understand monthly balance sheet reconciliation process to ensure account balances are properly recorded and supported.
- Support the Accounting team so month-end and year-end closings are reliable and performed within required deadlines (in US GAAP and Local GAAP accounting standards).
- Analyze P&L and balance sheet accounts. Review accounts reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing usual tax fillings (Sales Tax, Tax returns, GST, VAT, etc.).
- Participate in meetings with the Global Accounting team to prepare closings and provide support to the business.
- Help with the adoption of new local accounting and tax rules as well as of new US GAAP accounting standards.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- BA/BS degree in Finance and Accounting
- Good knowledge of US GAAP is a plus.
- Two years of work experience in a related field is desirable but not required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software, especially Excel (Pivot tables, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, etc.). Experience with NetSuite will be a plus.
- Used to working across global time zones and locations with people from all over the world.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a high-activity, dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
- High level of discretion maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Ability to work independently but also as part of a small team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and results-oriented.
