**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Edit, proofread, and fact-check sports articles, match reports, and feature stories.
- Ensure consistency in tone, grammar, and style while maintaining audience engagement.
- Work closely with writers to enhance clarity, structure, and readability.
- Verify statistics, player data, and match details for accuracy.
- Optimize content for SEO and audience reach.
- Maintain publishing schedules and ensure timely delivery of content.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a **content editor**, preferably in the sports domain.
- Strong knowledge of major sports (football, basketball, cricket, etc.).
- Excellent grammar, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital content trends.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Experience with content management systems (WordPress, etc.) is a plus.
