**Role Summary**

We are hiring a **Merchandiser - Hard Goods** to coordinate between production, design, and client requirements to ensure smooth order execution, timely dispatches, and clear communication across teams. This role sits at the intersection of planning, execution, follow-ups, and MIS reporting on the shop floor.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Production Coordination & Shop Floor Liaison**
- Coordinate daily job card updates and follow-up with production heads for timelines and delivery commitments
- Ensure accurate information flow between design, production, stores, QC, and dispatch
- Monitor actual vs planned progress and flag bottlenecks or delays to the management
- Collect and maintain unit-level data on progress, stage-wise status, and rework for reporting

**2. Client Order Execution**
- Track custom orders and translate client requirements into actionable production formats
- Ensure samples and mock-ups are delivered as per committed timelines
- Provide regular updates to the design and sales team on production progress and readiness

**3. Inventory & Material Coordination**
- Liaise with stores to ensure timely availability of materials required for running jobs
- Reconcile BOMs with issued materials and highlight shortfalls, wastage, or urgent procurements
- Support QC and dispatch planning with correct product specs and timelines

**4. MIS Reporting**
- Maintain detailed MIS on daily production status, pending jobs, rework logs, and dispatch readiness
- Generate weekly reports for review meetings (in Excel or Google Sheets)
- Update trackers on costing, timelines, and delays with inputs from supervisors and QC

**5. Visual Merchandising & Client Support**
- Coordinate photography of finished products and maintain product spec archives
- Support design and sales with presentations or documentation needed for client meetings
- Adobe Photoshop or Canva knowledge will be a plus

**6. Team & Vendor Communication**
- Act as a central point of communication between factory floor teams, management, and external vendors
- Support vendor coordination for outsourced components and ensure timely follow-ups
- Share work status transparently and escalate proactively when timelines are at risk

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business, Industrial Design, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in furniture, lifestyle, or hard goods manufacturing
- Strong Excel skills (a must) with experience in tracking sheets, pivot tables, and charts
- Proficient in **PowerPoint** - ability to create and edit visually appealing presentations for clients or internal reviews
- Basic working knowledge of **Adobe Photoshop** (or Canva) for product mock-ups, layout design, and visual support material
- Experience in MIS reporting and production planning
- Good communication and coordination skills in both English and Hindi/Punjabi
- Knowledge of quality checks, packaging, and dispatch documentation is desirable

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
