**Job Description**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct geotechnical investigations, including soil sampling, borehole drilling, and laboratory testing.
- Analyze soil and rock properties to determine the suitability for foundations, slopes, retaining walls, tunnels, and earthworks.
- Design foundations (shallow, deep, pile, raft), ground improvement techniques, and slope stabilization measures.
- Collaborate with civil and structural engineers to integrate geotechnical solutions into overall project designs.
- Prepare geotechnical reports, design calculations, and construction drawings.
- Monitor on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to geotechnical design specifications.
- Perform risk assessments for geotechnical hazards such as liquefaction, landslides, or settlement.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, and clients to provide technical support during design and construction.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, environmental standards, and safety regulations.
- Utilize software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, STAAD, AutoCAD, and MS Project for analysis and reporting.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in geotechnical and civil engineering roles.
- Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and ground improvement techniques.
- Familiarity with IS codes, ASTM standards, and international geotechnical practices.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with underground metro, tunneling, or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of site investigation planning and instrumentation monitoring.
- Project management and client coordination experience.
