**Technical Operations/Maintenance**

Technical Operations includes the maintenance, and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more.

**Job overview and responsibilities**

Fast-paced and challenging role involving the ability to solve complex problems. This representative works alongside team members in Planning, Engineering, and Supply Chain to optimize the accomplishment of engineering projects which implement mandatory or reliability-critical maintenance. Must analyze data analysis and use problem-solving skills to find the best ways to drive project completion in both the line and heavy maintenance environments. This position requires critical and strategic thinking combined with team work to ensure successful project completion.
- Work with contributing teams in Planning, Materials, and Engineering to resolve issues in Project Progress
- Use tools and analysis to identify projects falling behind schedule
- Develop and maintain tools to optimize project scheduling
- Create and update project progress reports for high visibility projects for leadership and other stakeholders
- Maintain records and perform data entry for new and revised engineering projects

**This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded. This position is for United Airlines Business Services Pvt. Ltd - a wholly owned subsidiary of United Airlines Inc.**

**Qualifications**:
**Required**
- Bachelors in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Supply Chain/Logistics, Business or related field
- Entry-level role with at least some basic experience using data analysis and quantitative modeling techniques (e.g. statistical, optimization, simulation, spreadsheet)
- Basic experience using data analysis and quantitative modeling techniques (e.g. statistical, optimization, simulation,spreadsheet) Microsoft Excel
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively interact at all levels and team with all business partners
- Ability to handle simultaneous projects and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment
- Up to 20% travel to US in a year may be required depending on projects
- Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
- Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

**Preferred**
- One-year experience in aircraft maintenance planning, engineering, execution, or related area
- Knowledge of aircraft systems
- Advanced Excel (VBA and Macros)
- Data Visualization (Spotfire)
