**Videographer and video editor**

We are looking for a talented Video Editor to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches director’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting. They are involved in all aspects of video production, from conceptualization and scripting to filming and editing.

**Responsibilities of a video creator include**:

- Set up and operate video cameras and equipment, including lighting and audio equipment
- Determine the best angles, framing, and shots to capture the action
- Ensure that the lighting and audio levels are appropriate for the setting
- Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
- Create rough and final cuts
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
- Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity

**Requirements and skills**:

- Proven work experience as a Video Editor
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
- Creative mind and storytelling skills

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in film studies, cinematography, or relevant field.
- Previous work experience as a video editor.

**Salary**:

- **Freshers ** : As per the industry norms
- **Experience**: 1-2 years

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
