Career Advisor

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-on-one career counseling sessions to students, understanding their interests, goals, and aspirations.
- Assess students' skills, strengths, and areas of improvement to guide them in choosing suitable educational courses and career paths.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, educational opportunities, and job market requirements to provide accurate and relevant career advice.
- Conduct career exploration activities, including assessments, workshops, and seminars, to help students identify their areas of interest and potential career options.
- Support students in developing essential skills, such as interview preparation, networking, and job search strategies.
- Collaborate with the admissions team to actively participate in student recruitment efforts and generate admissions for Enbridg courses.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, industry professionals, and relevant stakeholders to expand the network of career development resources.
- Stay updated on Enbridg course offerings, curriculum, and admission requirements to effectively promote the programs to prospective students.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student interactions, counseling sessions, and admissions activities.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of career counseling materials, resources, and workshops.
- Collaborate with other Career Advisors and the branch team to share best practices, provide support, and foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in career counseling, guidance, or a related role, preferably in the education or training industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with students.
- Strong understanding of career development theories, assessment tools, and counseling techniques.
- Knowledge of educational opportunities, industry trends, and job market requirements.
- Empathy and the ability to listen actively and provide guidance tailored to individual student needs.
- Familiarity with resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with career development software or tools.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Passion for helping students succeed and a commitment to their professional growth.
- Knowledge of the local market in Perintalmanna and surrounding areas would be an added advantage.

Compensation: The salary for this position is based on experience and ranges from 12,000 to 18,000 INR per month.
