Ultimez Technology, a leading Software Development Organization gaining a foothold of 10 years in the industry is looking for News Editors for the product Coinpedia.org which is a financial-based news portal.

**Profile Overview**:
We are looking for passionate news editors to participate in the creative cycle of a news story by investigating and editing rich and unbiased scoops of information. The editors should research, write, proofread and publish online content. The editors will be responsible to write and assemble together news stories that will interest the target audience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform research and write factual news stories, re-write copy, and develop a crisp news story.
- The key objective is to gather information, edit news pieces, and present the news in an honest and balanced manner.
- Proofread, re-structure and edit articles by content writers.
- Collect, verify and analyze thoroughly newsworthy information.
- Assemble the findings into a stable story, conducting research to uncover interesting and significant news.
- Check various sources for interesting news we should cover.
- Perform research information for story development and monitor and Guide the news writers on how to approach certain stories.
- Monitor all the feeds to gather latest breaking news for writing news for publication.
- Perform copy editing of scripts for accuracy, factual content and correct language.
- Write/ Edit and deliver news stories with the readers perspective in mind and company standards.
- Abide by journalism’s ethics and codes.
- Proofreading and verifying statements and facts, studying different papers and social media.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in journalism,communications, English or relevant field.
- Proven work experience as a Journalist for 2 and more years.
- Strong writing and proofreading skills.
- Experience with content management systems.
- Capable of maintaining an ethical & objective standard in reporting.
- Ability to meet deadlines and accurately fact-check information.
- Excellent communication and networking skills, along with an aptitude to effectively extract information.
- You should be a meticulous editor with an eye for details.
- Current knowledge of headlines, good observation and deduction skills.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills to find solutions and work with the team members to identify a way around the problem.
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems.
