**Overview**:
As a Fashion Assistant Designer, you will play a vital role in supporting the design team to bring creative concepts to life. This dynamic position involves collaborating closely with designers, contributing innovative ideas, and actively participating in the entire design process.

**Responsibilities**:
**Research and Trend Analysis**:Stay abreast of current fashion trends, fabrics, and techniques.
Conduct market research to identify emerging styles and consumer preferences.

**Design Development**:Assist in the creation and development of design concepts.
Collaborate with senior designers to translate ideas into sketches and technical drawings.

**Material and Color Selection**:Work with the design team to choose appropriate fabrics, colors, and materials for each collection.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source materials.

**Sample Review and Modification**:Participate in the fitting and modification process for prototypes and samples.
Provide constructive feedback on design elements, fit, and overall aesthetic.

**Technical Documentation**:Assist in the preparation of technical packs and specifications for production.
Ensure accuracy and clarity in communicating design details to production teams.

**Collaboration**:
Maintain effective communication with tailor & team members throughout the design process.

**Quality Control**:Work closely with quality control teams to ensure that the final products meet design specifications.
Identify and address any issues related to design and construction.

**Administrative Support**:Provide administrative support, such as organizing design-related documents and maintaining design archives.
Assist in day-to-day tasks to ensure smooth workflow within the design department.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or diploma degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Strong understanding of fashion trends, fabrics, and garment construction.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design aesthetics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
