Literature Search Executive Intern

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Literature Search Executive Intern to join our Clinical Research team at ProRelix Services LLP. As an intern, you will play a key role in supporting the team with literature reviews, sourcing clinical trial data, and providing valuable research insights. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the clinical research field.

**Responsibilities**:

- Utilize various databases, search engines, and online resources to identify relevant articles, reports, and other materials pertaining to specific clinical research topics, with a focus on key therapeutic areas.
- Review and extract relevant data from identified articles, including trial methodologies, and stake holders. Summarize findings and prepare reports for internal stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Identify and access relevant journals and publications within targeted therapeutic areas, ensuring the information aligns with ongoing clinical projects.
- Collect essential information from articles and published materials, focusing on data that supports clinical research objectives.
- Access clinical trial registries (e.g., ClinicalTrials.gov) to identify relevant clinical trials and extract key trial information such as design, patient populations, outcomes, and safety data.
- Identify and track relevant clinical trials within key therapeutic areas, ensuring timely and accurate data collection.
- Aggregate data from professional events (e.g., conferences, symposia), capturing emerging trends and insights relevant to ongoing clinical research projects.
- Use LinkedIn and other professional tools to build networks and connect with professionals in the clinical research field, enhancing the organization's ability to stay informed about industry trends and developments.
- Maintain and regularly update internal bibliographic and research databases with up-to-date references and materials related to ongoing clinical projects and therapeutic areas.
- Work closely with business development and clinical research teams, regulatory affairs, and medical writers to ensure comprehensive research materials are available for analysis, decision making, and submission purposes.
- Stay current with the latest clinical research trends, developments, and innovations within relevant therapeutic areas, providing insights to enhance ongoing projects.
- Organize data into a structured Excel database and ensure that all research information is easily accessible and well-maintained for references.

**Education**:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Clinical Research, Pharmacy, Nursing, Medicine, or a related field.

**Skills**:

- Strong proficiency in using academic and clinical research databases.
- Excellent ability to summarize complex scientific data and research findings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with clinical trial processes and regulatory guidelines (e.g., ICH-GCP, FDA, EMA guidelines) is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
