**Experience Required**: Minimum 10-15 years in nursing, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or administrative role
**Job Summary**:
The Nursing Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all nursing operations in the hospital, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, maintaining nursing standards, managing nursing staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The role involves both administrative and clinical responsibilities.
**Key Responsibilities:1. Administrative & Supervisory**:
- Supervise, direct, and coordinate the nursing staff across all departments.
- Develop duty rosters, allocate assignments, and manage leave schedules.
- Monitor performance of nursing personnel and conduct regular evaluations.
- Maintain staffing levels to ensure adequate patient care at all times.
**2. Patient Care & Quality**:
- Ensure high standards of nursing care and patient safety.
- Oversee the implementation of patient care protocols and nursing procedures.
- Address patient complaints and resolve nursing-related issues promptly.
- Conduct regular audits to maintain clinical quality and hygiene standards.
**3. Training & Development**:
- Organize regular training programs for nurses to upgrade skills.
- Coordinate continuing education, workshops, and seminars.
- Mentor and guide junior staff and new recruits.
**4. Communication & Coordination**:
- Liaise with doctors, medical officers, and administrative staff for smooth operations.
- Conduct regular nursing department meetings and briefings.
- Facilitate effective communication within the nursing team and other departments.
**Required Qualifications**:
- B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Registration with State Nursing Council.
- Certification or training in hospital administration is an advantage.
**Skills & Competencies**:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Crisis management and problem-solving ability.
- Familiarity with hospital information systems and electronic medical records.
Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
