Position Summary:

Preferred Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:
Ø Bachelor in BE or equivalent

Ø 5 to 7 years of IT experience with focus on large integrations. Preferred experience in banking domain.

Ø Sound knowledge of AIX 6/7 & VIOS 3.X.

Ø Hands on Experience on HA (Active - Active Cluster)

Ø Sound knowledge of VIOS SEA and Switch configuration.

Ø NIM installation and HMC management.

Ø D-LPAR Concept and trouble shooting.

Ø Sound knowledge of VIOS for deployment of AIX VIOS.

Ø Sound knowledge of Security aspects from AIX OS perspective to deliver/implement security policies as per organization guidelines.

Ø Sound knowledge on AIX / HA patching.

Ø Should be able to automate tasks with the help of Shell/Perl scripting.

Ø Able to handle most of basic to advanced calls in User, group management, system start-up, service modification, crontab entries, ACL modifications, file system management, root backups.

Ø Experience in Server Management, Backup, with the help of the tool provided. Any proactive monitoring tools i.e. open view, Tivoli, Big-brother, Data Protector Etc will be added Advantage.

Ø Should have sound knowledge in performance tuning, troubleshooting issues

Ø Should have used any backup management software i.e., Legato, Net backup, TSM, VERITAS, Omni backup etc.

Ø Preferred Certification in AIX / VIOS / HACMP.

Ø VG, LV and File system creation.

Ø Having good technical and analytical skills.

Ø Should have strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ø Ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Ø Ability to set and manage priorities independently.
