**Job Summary**

Kanha Makhan Public School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Sports Teacher to join our team. The Sports Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging physical education classes, coaching school sports teams, and promoting fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students across various grade levels. We are looking for a passionate individual who can inspire students to lead active and healthy lifestyles through sports and physical activities.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan and conduct physical education classes for students from primary to secondary levels (Classes I-X), aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Develop and implement sports programs that enhance physical fitness, motor skills, and team-building skills.
- Coach school sports teams in disciplines such as cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, and athletics, preparing students for inter-school and regional competitions.
- Organize and manage school sports events, including annual sports days, tournaments, and inter-house competitions.
- Assess students’ physical abilities and progress, providing feedback to support their development.
- Ensure the safety of students during sports activities and maintain sports equipment and facilities.
- Promote values of discipline, leadership, and sportsmanship through sports and fitness initiatives.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate physical education into the school’s holistic development framework.
- Maintain accurate records of student participation, performance, and attendance.
- Encourage participation in extracurricular sports activities to foster a culture of fitness and teamwork.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- **Educational Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Master’s degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., CTET or UP-TET) is preferred.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Sports Teacher or coach in a recognized school.
- Experience in coaching multiple sports and organizing school-level sports events is highly desirable.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of various sports, physical education techniques, and CBSE curriculum guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages to participate in sports and fitness activities.
- Proficiency in organizing and managing sports events and tournaments.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and basic first aid in sports settings.
- Fluency in English
