- Pune/ GurgaonRole The role comprises working on comprehensive credit reviews of exposures in commercial real estate (CRE) and commercial and industrial (C&I) loans. Areas of work involve: Ø Financial Analysis, Due Diligence and Report Writing: o Due diligence tracking including sourcing information such as updated financial statements, rent rolls, valuation reports, asset summary reports, and debt structure summary o Spreading financials and tax returns in proprietary client models and third-party underwriting systems such as Sageworks o Conducting rent roll analysis, financial statement analysis, tax returns analysis, valuation, and credit analysis of CRE and C&I loans to evaluate borrower's loan repayment ability o Reviewing and analyzing borrower and Sponsor credit searches, litigation history, lien searches, warrants etc. o Preparing detailed annual and quarterly credit review reports or memorandums Ø Covenant Monitoring and Risk Assessment: o Evaluating, analyzing, testing, tracking, and monitoring C&I and CRE contractual credit metrics, covenant requirements, financial reporting requirements and firm specific requirements o Presenting an independent assessment and recommendation on the credit quality of existing transactions including risk rating and outlining credit strengths and weaknesses Ø Portfolio Management: o Active management and monitoring of the bank’s existing portfolio of criticized and classified CRE and C&I loans including financial and credit analysis for assigned portfolio o Establishing and maintaining consistent standards and processes in credit analysis through interaction with the risk management team of the bank Ø Client Management/Stakeholder Management: o Proactively communicating with loan officers, brokers, and overseas clients during the underwriting and loan review process o Regular interaction with the client to discuss reports as well as workflow o Suggesting innovative ways to enhance client engagement Supporting the client with any ad-hoc research requests including portfolio analysis
