## Job Title: Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) - Civil Design Engineer for Solar Projects

## Key Responsibilities:
1. **Design and Analysis**:

- Assist in the preparation of civil engineering designs for solar power projects, including site layouts, foundation plans, and structural calculations.
- Use CAD software to create detailed drawings and specifications.
- Perform site-specific civil engineering calculations and analyses.

2. **Project Coordination**:

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical engineers, environmental specialists, and project managers.
- Coordinate with external consultants and contractors to ensure designs meet project requirements and standards.
- Support the review and approval process of civil engineering documents.

3. **Site Assessment**:

- Participate in site visits to assess project feasibility and gather necessary data.
- Assist in conducting topographical and geotechnical surveys.
- Help identify and mitigate potential site constraints.

4. **Regulatory Compliance**:

- Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including zoning laws, environmental regulations, and safety standards.

5. **Technical Documentation**:

- Prepare technical reports, design documents, and construction specifications.
- Maintain accurate and organized project files and records.

6. **Quality Assurance**:

- Support quality control and quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet high standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of project quality plans.

7. **Continuous Improvement**:

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in civil engineering and solar energy.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.### Qualifications:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D), MS Office Suite, and engineering analysis tools.
- **Knowledge**: Basic understanding of civil engineering principles, renewable energy, and solar project design.
- **Soft Skills**: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- **Certifications**: EIT (Engineer in Training) certification is desirable.
