**Job Requirements**
- Responsible for performing Detail Mechanical Design Engineering of Oil & Gas projects mainly refinery and chemicals.
- Experience with P&IDs and PFDs (including material balances), GA Layout
- Strong expereince on designing the equipment and machinery. These includes(but not limited to) various types pumps, blowers, turbines, compressors, heaters, tanks/vessels, piping systems, valves and instrumentation.
- Hands on experinece of Designing of Pressure Vessel, Heat exchanger, Crystalliser, Multiple effect Evaporator etc are desirable.
- Knowledge of Energy Balance, Steam Calculations and pipe sizing, Insulations will be added advantage.
- Perform piping related calculations(Size and specify Pipes and pipe support, flanges and valves) based on compliance with engineering principles, customer standards and specifications, contractual requirements, and applicable local and international codes.
- Structural analysis and design optimization of Skids/ Structures, pipe support and industrial structures; lifting and transportation analysis to meet International codes.
- Detailed BOM preparation of the plant.
- experience in Plant Design Engineering industry involving mechanical design engineering functions. Experience in basic and detail Engineering in Refineries, Chemicals, Midstream Oil and Gas projects
- Review of Project Scope and customer inputs; Risk Analysis; Effort Estimation and Project Planning
- Proven experience in executing Mechanical design and engineering of process equipment. This in preparation of the material requisition, Technical evaluation of vendor offers & Order specification and review of vendor drawings. Being involved in inspections and/or site installation.
- Development of designs / models to satisfy technical specifications
- Conduct activities related to design reviews; technical developments; scheduling and engineering resolution related to design, testing and field problems.

**Work Experience**
- Assure that all engineering designs, bills of material, technical data are completely and accurately documented by reviewing engineering drawings and MRP system entries.
- Interact and guide Detailing/Drafting team to ensure quality deliverables
- Undertake developmental activities like preparation of work instructions / procedures / guidelines
- Should have good understanding of requirements of other departments and interfaces in engineering
- Has good knowledge of international codes and standards
- Should have experience in lead role for FEED and Detail Engineering projects with exposure to field engineering activities.
