A Hydrogeologist studies the distribution, movement, and quality of groundwater. They analyze geological and hydrological data to assess water resources, monitor contamination, and develop sustainable water management solutions. This role combines fieldwork, data analysis, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure responsible groundwater use and protection.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct field investigations including drilling, sampling, and monitoring of groundwater.
- Analyze water flow in aquifers and assess contaminant transport.
- Use modeling software (e.g., MODFLOW) to simulate groundwater behavior.
- Develop and implement water resource management plans.
- Assess environmental impacts of industrial, agricultural, and urban water use.
- Prepare technical reports, maps, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Advise on groundwater protection, waste management, and flood risk.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, environmental scientists, and policymakers.

**Requirement**
- **Education**

BSc/MSc in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
- **Experience**

2-5 years preferred; internships or fieldwork highly valued
- **Technical Skills**

Proficiency in GIS, groundwater modeling software, and data analysis tools
- **Soft Skills**

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
