**Job Description**:
Under the direction of the COE Graphics and Labelling (G&L) Leadership team and/or team lead, to develop product labelling (primary, secondary, and tertiary packages) and associated product literature and e-literature. Must maintain Corporate Branding Standards as well as adhering to Country and Industry Regulations along with Corporate and Divisional Procedures. Will primarily support MDS, and may have some cross divisional work in critical workload surge situations.
Job Responsibilities
- Creates and/or modifies artwork based on provided instructions.
- Keeps abreast of the latest software revisions while maintaining compliance and compatibility with the Business Units.
- Provides assurance that the quality of all artwork and design graphics complies with BD Medical and Corporate Brand standards.
- Remains current with ongoing corporate, industry and international levels.
- Good collaboration skills and is prone to ask questions when in doubt.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
- Ability to execute work in a fast-paced deadline orientated environment.
- Attention to detail - ensuring accuracy to avoid errors. All artwork touchpoints are to be documented and filed appropriately and properly archived.
Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge
- Knowledge of printing process for proper prepress work and file preparation.
- Demonstrates ability as a creative designer of products and applied graphics within a 2D/3D design space.
- Extensive experience with Macintosh computer graphics and Design programs (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, and Photoshop) MS Excel and On-Demand Labelling software.
- Knowledgeable and adherent to BD Quality and Corporate Policies.
- Skills
- Good collaboration skills and is prone to ask questions when in doubt.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Multilingual a plus.
