SCOPE OF WORK The Field Technician is responsible in checking fresh/hardened concrete properties whether they are within the specified limits at the site/plant. Cube casting/testing/de-moulding/cleaning cubes and fills sampling, pour summary & Customer Feedback report. Coordination with “Lab Technician”/ ”QC In charge” of any problems with the concrete mix at site/plant. KEY RESPONSIBILIITES Check concrete appearance, workability & temperature at site and record the data in the proper format. To inform “Lab Technician”/"QC In charge" of any non-compliance at site and do rectification as per instructions. Make sure that testing equipment (Slump Cone, Tamping Rod, Thermometer, Trowels, Sufficient Cubes & Cube Rod, Etc.,) is working properly and is cleaned after use. Co-ordination with plant QC team for maintaining the Slump & Flow as per the site requirement Cube Sampling at plant as well as at customer sites as per the requirement. Cubes prepared to be identified with appropriate numbers to avoid missing/mixing. Cube Mould de-moulding, cleaning, Oiling and shifting of moulds from site to plant Protect freshly prepared cubes from direct sunlight. Identify cubes made at site, fill the appropriate format and handle the cube according to standard procedure. Ensure cube collection from field and assis team in handling cubes samples. Check that concrete is handled properly by the pump operator and contractor. Co-ordination with plant production team for the dispatches of TM Updating pour data sheet and take feedback form filled & duly signed from customer representative at site after completion of pour Perform any other task assigned by the management. COMPETENCIES REQUIRED 1. Educational and experience in RMC QA/QC at plant/site 2. Professional Oral and Written Communications 3. Excellent Coordination Skills 4. Technical Knowledge and Procedural Observance 5. Documentary Control and Safekeeping 6.
