**Designation**: Medical Coder/Senior Medical Coder/QA - Surgery
**Preferred Skills, Education and Experience**:
- Any graduation with Surgery coding experience.
- CPC, CCS or COC certification will add advantage.
- Noncertified coders are eligible with minimum 1 year Surgery coding experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong domain knowledge in Surgery.
- Have thorough knowledge of medical anatomy, physiology and Medical terminology. Official Coding Guidelines for ICD-10-CM for correct and accurate coding.
**Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for assigning diagnostic and procedural codes to patient charts using ICD-10-CM coding classification system in accordance with coding rules and regulations
- Abstract required clinical information
- Have thorough knowledge of medical terminology, disease processes, pharmacology, Medicare’s Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS), Official Coding Guidelines for ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS, and documentation requirements for correct and accurate coding
- Maintain standard industry productivity rates for Surgery coding (2.5 to 3 charts/hour)
- Demonstrate ability to maintain high quality standards of 95% or greater
- Proficient in utilizing technology (Encoder, CAC, MS Office, EMRs) to perform responsibilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with trauma cases and highly complex cases, orthopedic, and cardiology preferred

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
