We are hiring for **Senior Resident in Pediadtrics for kanpur location** at Well known multi specility Hospital.
**Responsibilities**:
**Diagnosis and Treatment**:
Conduct thorough medical examinations, evaluate symptoms, and diagnose illnesses or injuries in pediatric patients.
Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans, considering the unique needs and conditions of each patient.
Prescribe medications, therapies, and other interventions, and monitor the progress and response to treatment.
Pediatric Care:
Provide general pediatric care, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and screenings to monitor growth and development.
Offer guidance to parents and caregivers on various child-related topics, such as nutrition, hygiene, and safety.
Address concerns and answer questions related to child development, behavior, and overall well-being.
Emergency Care:
Respond to pediatric emergencies within the hospital, such as severe injuries, allergic reactions, or acute illnesses.
Stabilize and manage critical conditions, coordinating with other medical specialists and emergency personnel as necessary.
Ensure timely and appropriate medical interventions to support the immediate needs of pediatric patients.
Medical Records and Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all pediatric patients, documenting diagnoses, treatments, and progress.
Prepare medical reports and communicate effectively with patients' families, primary care physicians, and other healthcare providers involved in the child's care.
**Collaborative Work**:
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and specialists, to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, consultations, and case reviews to discuss complex cases and develop appropriate treatment plans.
**Continual Learning**:
Stay updated with the latest research, advancements, and best practices in pediatric medicine through professional development activities.
**Compliance and Quality Assurance**:
Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols while delivering pediatric care.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including patient confidentiality, documentation standards, and safety protocols.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the hospital to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
**Qualifications**:
Medical degree (M.D.) from an accredited medical college.
Completion of a residency program in Pediatrics.
Must have 2 to 3 years of experience in Pediatrics.
Permanant registration with (UPMC).
Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of pediatric medicine.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based healthcare environment.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle emergencies and stressful situations.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage time efficiently.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest medical research.
