**Role Purpose Statement **(Write a brief statement regarding the objective of the position and why it exists):
The Trader will handle a supplier base and fulfill transactions delivering commodities that meet production requirements and specifications in terms of timing, volume, quality and cost. In this role, you will focus on managing risk and trading Veg Oils complex to provide additional value to the business and will be responsible for your team's performance. You will deliver the results via collaboration with Global Oil Value Chain (GOVC), BIPL Foods and other stakeholder groups across the organization

**Main Accountabilities** (List 6-8 major areas of responsibilities in order of importance, and purpose of these activities:

- Trade Veg oils with a focus on flat cash, premiums, freight.
- Coordinate trading efforts across the risk management trading desks to create joint product optimizations or swap opportunities that meet the multifaceted needs of our customers and our internal trading.
- Analyze markets including regional S/D's & Trade Flows, be accountable for generating insights and spotting trend changes on supply & demand.
- Manage customer account developments with emphasis on priority customers, develop deep understanding of customer strategies and manage counterparty risk exposure.
- Coordinate the value chain to fulfill customer needs and resolve issues.
- Responsible for all risk management of business transactions
- Participate actively in the business plan preparation and trading strategy
- Collaborate with transportation and logistics, quality assurance, customer managers and credit managers to ensure efficient execution.
- Work directly with customers, suppliers, and business counterparts to develop business solutions to meet their needs.
- Independently handle complex issues with mínimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

**Education/Experience** (Identify types and length of education and experience needed to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to accomplish the desired end results. Some examples are education & training, and years of experience):

- MBA degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of trading experience, including all required regulatory training
- Good knowledge of the Oilseeds & Vegetable Oils complex.
- Counterparty risk management knowledge and experience of payment terms and freight forwarding
- Organizational skills as relates to S/D analysis, logistics, p/l reconciliation, etc.
- Understanding of options and commodity derivatives
- Good English language communication skills and computer skills, full domain of Microsoft office
