**Summary**:
The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content for a book publishing company. This includes creating promotional videos, author interviews, book trailers, and other multimedia content to engage audiences and promote published works across digital platforms.

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**:

- **Video Editing**: Edit raw footage into polished video content, ensuring clarity, coherence, and visual appeal. This includes book trailers, author interviews, and promotional videos.
- **Content Creation**: Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to produce engaging video content that promotes books, authors, and company events.
- **Post-Production**: Add special effects, graphics, sound, and music to enhance videos and align with branding guidelines.
- **Video Optimization**: Ensure videos are optimized for various platforms, including social media, YouTube, websites, and e-commerce platforms.
- **Project Management**: Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with writers, designers, and other team members to ensure video content aligns with overall marketing strategies and publishing goals.
- **Content Strategy**: Help develop creative video concepts and strategies to engage target audiences and drive book sales.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Film, Video Production, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Proven experience in video editing, preferably in the publishing, media, or entertainment industry.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in video editing software ( After Effect, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Da Vinci Resolve, Canva, VFX ).
- Knowledge of motion graphics, visual effects, and sound editing.
- Familiarity with video compression and format optimization for various platforms.
- Strong creative vision and ability to produce engaging multimedia content.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
