**Job Title: Purchase Intern**

As a Purchase Intern within our interior design firm, you will be responsible for sourcing, procuring, and managing all materials, furnishings, and services required for our projects. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality materials and services while adhering to project budgets and specifications.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineer

**Experience**:

- 0-2 years (Freshers also can apply)

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
**Vendor Management**:

- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, vendors, and contractors.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.

**Procurement**:

- Source and purchase materials, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment required for interior design projects.
- Ensure that all purchased items meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project Interns and designers to determine procurement needs.

**Budget Management**:

- Work closely with project Interns and finance teams to establish and manage project budgets.
- Monitor and control procurement costs to ensure projects remain within budget constraints.

**Inventory Management**:

- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and reorder points.
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and ensure the availability of materials.

**Quality Assurance**:

- Conduct quality checks on received materials and products to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Address any quality issues promptly and work with suppliers to resolve them.

**Logistics and Shipping**:

- Oversee the logistics and shipping of materials to project sites.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.

**Compliance and Documentation**:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain detailed procurement records and documentation for auditing purposes.

**Cost Analysis**:

- Analyze costs associated with different procurement options and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.

**Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills**:

- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Civil engineering.
- Proven experience in procurement and vendor management, preferably within the interior design or construction industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Knowledge of interior design materials, products, and industry trends is a plus.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
