**Sample Processing & Preparation**:

- Receive tissue specimens from surgery, biopsy, or OPD units.
- Perform grossing under supervision (if authorized) and ensure proper labeling.
- Dehydrate, clear, embed, and section tissues using microtome techniques.
- Perform standard and special staining procedures (H&E, PAS, Silver stain, etc.).
- Mount stained sections and prepare slides for pathologist examination.

**Quality Control & Assurance**:

- Follow SOPs and protocols as per NABL / NABH / CAP standards.
- Maintain internal quality control logs for all processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of sample handling.

**Equipment Handling & Maintenance**:

- Operate and maintain histopathology equipment: microtomes, tissue processors, embedding stations, and staining machines.
- Calibrate and clean equipment regularly.
- Report malfunctioning or breakdowns immediately.

**Safety & Compliance**:

- Follow biosafety and infection control guidelines while handling specimens.
- Dispose of biomedical waste as per hospital policy.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient data and maintain ethical practices.

**Inventory Management**:

- Maintain stock of reagents, stains, slides, cassettes, and other consumables.
- Prepare solutions and reagents as per standard protocols.
- Inform supervisor of low stock or expired materials.

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
