**JOB TITLE**: Rigger (Offshore)

**AGE LIMIT**: Below 45

**NATIONALITY**: Indian. Limited by Visa quota

**ABOUT COMPANY**: Large Oil & Gas company in Qatar.

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum of 6 months of offshore experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working with Rigging and Lifting tasks, preferably from the Oil & Gas Industry.
- Minimum 1 year of Offshore Platform experience.
- GCC experience is mandatory.

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Elementary School/Higher secondary/Diploma Certificate.
- OPITO T-BOSIET.
- OPITO H2S.
- OPITO Rigger Stage 1.
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
- Fitness for work (Offshore) Certificate.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**Main Role**:

- To execute day to day rigging/lifting activities on-site as required for maintenance and campaign works in line with company's approved procedures and guidelines.

**Operational**:

- Perform the day to day execution of rigging/lifting tasks for maintenance and campaign works on-site in line with company's approved procedures and guidelines.
- Complete job related risk assessments prior to start of tasks. Ensure that all tools, materials and equipment are maintained and kept in good condition.
- Participate in the execution of shutdown tasks for his discipline.

**HSE**:

- Drive incident-free environment through establishing and maintaining a strong safety culture.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with HSE (Occupational and process) legislation, company standards and procedures under area of responsibility to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environment attitude.
- Ensure compliance with operating procedures and guidelines within the Asset to ensure Process Safety, Occupational safety and Plant integrity.

**Other**:

- Undertake daily communication and coordination with offshore functions pertaining to key business matters within area of work.
- Proactively take responsibility for self-progression by keeping abreast with latest developments, knowledge and innovations in relevant field of expertise.

**Ethics and Compliance**:

- To abide by and promote the compliance with the Group and the Affiliate's rules and procedures relating to business integrity.

**SKILLS TESTING**: English language to a level that satisfies the standards of the Safety English Test (SET). Trade/Skills Test prior to mobilisation.

**FINANCIAL PACKAGE**: 193 QAR/day.
