**POSITION DETAILS**
- **Position Summary**_
- **Principal Activities**_
- Analyses Work Orders and associated Engineering Drawings to determine need for supplies and sequence of operations required.
- Reviews Work Orders and associated Engineering Drawings to determine the welding process requirements (weld process, weld position, filler metal, preheat / interpass, purging, postweld heat treatment, weld documentation, etc.), confirming the individual is qualified to perform the process.
- Understand the engineering drawings and cross check the materials according to the requirements.
- Should have knowledge on welding fit-ups & Gas cutting.
- Perform arc gouging operations.
- Performs the required welding activities in accordance with previously approved weld procedures.
- Inspects their individual work, or confers with Inspection to maintain specified standards and quality.
- Documents completion of weld activities specified by the Work Order.
- Monitors work environment for hazards (mechanical, thermal, electrical, ventilation, etc.).
- Follows all required welding safety protocols.
- Conduct basic maintenance of tooling/welder/grinder, ensuring powerline, gas line and water line work properly.
- Cut tubing to size per drawings to get prepared for welding.
- Weld thin wall stainless to PED and TPED drawing.

- **Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**_
- At least 6 years of experience
- Understanding of different materials
- Able to read drawings
- Thin wall stainless welding skills
- Must be flexible on overtime
- **Education**_
- High School diploma/GED
- GTAW Experience certification
- SMAW Experience certification
