- Engine Scout is looking for an experienced content specialist to join our fast growing team, and help lend a hand managing content ideation, creation, and management. We are a fast growing digital marketing agency specialising in the full lifecycle growth of eCommerce businesses.**About the role**:
A fully remote role with flexibility to work the hours you want. We have an immediate need for a part time resource that will grow into a full-time role in the coming months as the business continues to grow.

We are looking for a content specialist who understands how to create content that people want to read, share and engage with - all the best ingredients for ranking in Google’s search results. You will be conducting topic research, coming up with content ideas and outlines, coordinating with our teams of freelance writers, and optimising content across multiple industries.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Keyword research & content topic selection
- Assisting with the design and management of a content production schedule
- Creating content briefs using our pre-built process checklists and templates to be assigned to writers
- Reviewing, editing, and optimising content as needed.
- Coordinating with teams of specialist writers
- Learning and mastering on-page search engine optimization (SEO)

**Requirements**:

- Experience developing and analysing content in digital environments such as product and category pages, blog posts, resource pages, and FAQ / reference materials.
- Experience developing content for various verticals and multiple brand voices, tones and a talent for crafting data-driven stories
- Experience with digital marketing tools such as SEMRush, Google Analytics, Buzzsumo, Screaming Frog, Clearscope, Ahrefs is a major plus
- A basic understanding of how to optimise a page for SEO
- Understanding of search intent and how it applies to keyword selection
