a. Is responsible and accountable for the delivery of care provided in accordance with the organization/department philosophy.

c. Demonstrates skill in implementing comprehensive and thorough assessment of patient’s specific need.

d. Able to implement delivery of care based on research and /or current best practice.

e. Ensures the skill of individual staff is matched to the individual needs of patients.

f. Is responsible for the implementation of policies which enable most effective use of nursing resources.

g. Ensures that all practices are within the guideline set by the department and are in accordance with organization policy.

h. Ensures the implementation of all NABH standards.

i. Ensures accuracy and completion of nursing documentation within the time frame.

j. Assisting and arranging the things for bedside procedures as required.

k. Responsible of conducting daily classes at bedside.

l. Doing a proper bedside round every day.

m. Should play a major role in infection control and prevention by daily teaching and implementing the measures precisely.a. Checking and confirming whether all the staff is following re-usable policy.a. Ensure admissions & discharges criteria is followed for all cases.
