We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Technology Third Party Risk Officer.

In this role, you will:

- The Technology (“IT”) Risk and Controls is part of the Global Markets (“GM”) IT function that supports the risk management of third party risks across various GM IT Asset classes.
- This function provides the framework for well managed risk and control environment to our business partners.
- This role will help drive the third party risk management agenda for GM IT and Support the Global Third Party Risk Officer (“TPRO”) by coordinating all Third Party Risk related matters for GM IT
- Monitoring and Control - Collate and analyse management information on Third Party Risk & produce monthly reports on behalf of GM IT
- Governance and Reporting - Execute and maintain the Technology TPR Governance strategy to ensure adoption and implementation of the Technology execution plan for Group TPRM Policy and Framework, including escalation of Third Party Issues outside of correct governance
- Education - Provide advice, guidance and risk management support to noteworthy stakeholders
- Support and Guidance - Identify and support TPEMs and risk owners under the revised Supplier Management model
- Ongoing - Build strong relationships and maintain transparent communication channels with all relevant stakeholders
- Assist service owners in responding appropriately and effectively to firm-wide third party risk and control initiatives
- Partner with service owners and Asset Class heads to identify and assess controls, determine mitigating actions and remediation activities, and understand the overall third party risk profile
- Drive ownership and accountability for Third Party Risk Issues and Action Plan Ownership across GM IT
- Advocate and support initiatives to improve accuracy across all Third Party Risk Management data repositories
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

- Skilled decision-maker - considered and timely especially when under pressure
- The ability to communicate residual risk through reporting, business governance processes and forums
- Ability to build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with business heads, senior managers, third party consultants, technical experts across the whole department and business users.
- Strong customer focus with a drive to deliver standards of service to internal clients at least equivalent to external providers
- Able to work with many simultaneous tasks in a pressurized, time-sensitive environment
- Able to drive significant change in a rapidly evolving organisation with little direction and without adversely impacting day-to-day delivery
