- CPLE/CTL is in charge of setting up a set of controls to contain the risks of non-compliance of the Bank by identifying SG Group main Compliance risks and actions for remediation.Second Level Controls is a transversal role covering control testing for Société Générale entities across geographical locations. The role requires in-depth knowledge of control framework and understanding the existing Compliance, Finance & Regulatory controls.

As a Second level controller, your main objectives are the verification of the definition and the effective performance of first-level controls and the quantitative & qualitative review of their results.

Job description requires an experience in performing Second Level tests on Permanent Supervision controls to ensure risks are identified and adequate controls are in place to mitigate/minimize the impact. The person will be analyzing controls, by understanding the risk for which the control has been established, and share the control testing conclusions and recommendations to the management for further improvement in terms of spreading the knowledge on controls to safeguard environment.
- As a Senior Analyst in Compliance Second Level Controls, your main objectives are:

- Monitoring:
- Provide support for Second level of Controls assessment for Compliance Risks (Mainly in terms of Documentation assessment of each existing level 1 controls (Design and Execution of the second level control form) based on a defined and associated Control Plan.

The control plan covers the 8 Compliance risk categories as per defined by non Compliance risk Taxonomy. These risk categories are:

- 1. Market Integrity, 2. Client protection and Management, 3. Data & Digital, 4. Tax Transparency, 5. Anti-bribery and Corruption, Ethics & conduct, 6 & 7. Anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (incl. KYC), 8. Sanctions & embargos
- The control plan is defined based on the new Methodology for Second Level of Control
- Reporting on related results (reporting of the findings & recommendations in a clear & crisp manner)
- Follow-up of the related remediation actions.

**Profile required**:

- Core/Key Responsibilities (include below but not limited to):
- Ability to analyze the risk of the process and understand the control design
- Ability to analyze control evaluation.
- Review of control execution for the Key Controls related to Compliance to ensure Controls are well followed.
- Basic communication skills and knowledge of risk and controls
- Assist in implementing the controls framework in Compliance team with objective to identify key risks & to check if the controls put in place are effective and exhaustive. Good English written communication skills.
