Accounts Assistant

**Responsibilities**:
1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and subsidiary accounts.
2. Reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable on a regular basis.
3. Create and Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions.
4. Prepare financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements) regularly or as required by management.
5. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning.
6. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.
7. Coordinate with auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making and planning.
9. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure the organization's accounting practices are in compliance.
10. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets and prevent fraud.
11. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.
12. Handle any other accounting-related tasks as assigned by the finance manager or senior management.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
1. Bachelor's degree in a related field.
2. Minimum 1 year Proven work experience as an accountant or in a similar financial role.
3. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting will be an add on.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Understanding of relevant tax regulations and laws.
10. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA) may be preferred or required depending on the organization.
**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
