**JOB TITLE: DRILLING SUPERVISOR**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- The Drilling Supervisor will be normally on tour during the hours of 0600 to 1800; however, supervise delicate & risky operations, drilling complications, and well control operations at any time.
- The duty cycle shall be 28 days on-duty and 28 days off-duty.
- Ensure correct management of drilling operations by optimizing assets/equipment and supervising the execution of offshore drilling and related activities on the rig.
- Whenever instructed by his/her superiors liaise on behalf of the Company with the contractor representative at site regarding contract management and interpretation.
- Verify the maintenance routines of drilling equipment/assets are appropriate and they guarantee an efficient performance of the drilling activities.
- Supervises the moving of rigs schedule on and off well locations. Includes liaising with a contractor to ensure maximum safety and accurate positioning of the rig in the new location.
- Be familiar with the established well-control procedures.
- Be familiar with the established drilling operational procedures.
- Ensure reporting routines are fulfilled.
- Verify the stock level of spare parts and consumables for drilling equipment on rigs.
- Ensure all classification society and authority’s rules and regulations applicable to the activities are adhered to.
- Ensures Company’s and Client’s HSE and Q/A policies and standards are implemented on the rig sites;
- Actively participate in HSE inspections/audits on the rig site.
- Call for / participate in investigations in case of serious incidents;
- Verify proper housekeeping is maintained on the rig site.

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**
- Degree in Engineering (preferred) with 20+ years’ experience in the Oil & Gas Industry with 15+ years in offshore Drilling and Operations, out of which 7 years as an offshore Drilling Supervisor/drilling supervisor.
- Extensive prior experience of working for an E&P Operator.
- Must have exposure to the drilling of Horizontal wells, Well complications, and DST
- Must have valid IWCF level IV (Surface - Supervisor) Certification.
- Knowledge and understanding of completion simulation software: Wellcat, Prosper, etc.
- Knowledge of HSE standards is essential.
- Minimum 5 years of UAE experience.
