Product Designer (male / female both can apply)

Job description:

- Responsible for designing and developing new products and product lines for the soft toy industry. Need to work closely with other departments to create designs that are both visually appealing and functional, while also ensuring that the products meet safety and regulatory standards.
- Researching and staying current on industry trends and consumer preferences to inform the design process
- Conceptualizing, designing, and developing new products and product lines for the soft toy industry
- Collaborating with the Sales & product development team to ensure designs are functional and meet safety and regulatory standards
- Creating detailed drawings and specifications for production

Work Experience

**Essential**:2-3 years of experience in product design, industrial design, or a related field.

**Desirable**: Experience in soft toy design is an added advantage.

Technical / Soft Skills required

** Strong technical skills, including knowledge of design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and SolidWorks. Skilled in sketching, illustration, and character stylization.**

Skills: Strong design skills, creativity, and the ability to think outside the box, Strong problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, Strong project management skills, Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Communicating with vendors to ensure that designs are translated into production-ready products
- Managing the design process from concept to production, including prototyping, testing, and sampling
- Participating in product reviews and presentations to stakeholders and customers
- Ensuring that designs are cost-effective, while still meeting quality and performance standards
- Maintaining accurate records of all designs, samples, and development work.
