**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Supervise and manage the finishing department, ensuring all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand specifications and requirements for each project.
- Oversee the assembly of components, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Utilize CNC machinery for precision machining tasks, maintaining equipment for optimal performance.
- Implement GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) practices to ensure accurate measurements and specifications.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products.
- Coordinate welding processes as necessary, ensuring structural integrity and quality of welds.
- Manage tooling requirements, including selection, maintenance, and inventory of tools used in the finishing process.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in machining, assembly, and quality control.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve workflows and resolve any production issues.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on finishing processes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings.
- Experience with CNC operations is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with GD&T principles is preferred.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers accurately.
- Experience with tooling management and maintenance practices.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards achieving production goals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
